Environmental responsibility
One of the most important activities of our organisation is conscious care for the environment. As early as 2011, we implemented and continue to maintain an Environmental Management System, thanks to which we have identified the impact of the company's activities on the environment and measures to reduce or eliminate it.
In order to ensure the greatest possible protection of the environment, we are successively implementing measures to optimise production processes in our organisation. Through the installation of LED lighting, the installation of automatic switching systems and the metering of the internal network, we aim to significantly optimise energy consumption. We have also made modifications to the compressed air system by optimising network settings and recovering heat for the unheated hall. For several years, we have been using electric trolleys instead of gas trolleys for warehouse operations.
We are conscious
Another important environmental measure in our organisation is rational waste management based on segregating the waste generated and passing it on to recipients ensuring its recycling. We strive to make optimum use of raw materials in production processes in order to minimise the amount of waste generated. We also source raw materials certified to international standards such as BCI - Better Cotton Initative, FSC® - Forest Stewardship Council®. We use water-based adhesives in the bonding process.
In order to reduce the use of water in plastic bottles, we have installed water filter dispensers. In old air-conditioning units, we replaced the refrigerant with a more atmosphere-friendly refrigerant. In addition, we use natural gas as a low-emission natural fuel in the technological process and in the heating system.
An important element of our environmental policy is the promotion of environmentally friendly measures not only among our employees, but also among the contractors and customers with whom we work.
